The Class
The SAP Aikido class is available for all SAP employees exclusive and takes place in SAP’s own gym in WDF19.
A regular class starts with the opening bow, a Japanese protocol for opening the training. After this there will be a brief warm-up (jumbi taiso) followed by various exercises to improve the ability to take falls (ukemi) in a secure way. Following these exercises we start with various hand-to-hand and/or weapon exercises. Usually the class will be closed with another formal bow based on Japanese protocol.
